Why live prices?

Rate sheets go out of date, and surcharges change. Live prices come straight from the carrier at the moment you book, so the price you see is the price that applies, and the price you charge is always right.

How it works

1. Switch on live prices for each carrier in your settings.

2. When you compare or book, Cargoflux fetches the current price from the carrier or forwarder.

3. Your margins are added for each customer, with surcharges included.

4. The customer sees their own sales price and books.

Who offers live prices

Live prices are available from major carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL Express, DHL Freight, DSV XPress and Danske Fragtmænd, and from the forwarders on Cargoflux, who offer their live prices to their own customers. All live prices also appear in price comparison.

What are API prices?

Prices fetched live from the carrier’s or forwarder’s system when you compare or book, instead of being looked up in a rate sheet.

Can I add my own margins?

Yes: as a percentage, by zone and weight band, or with a customer-specific rate sheet, at every step of the chain. Surcharges have their own margins.

Are surcharges included?

Yes. Fuel and other surcharges are included in the price, each with its own margin.

Can I combine live prices with my own rate sheets?

Yes. Both appear side by side in price comparison. With combined pricing, the cost comes from the live price and the sales price from your rate sheet.
